If your head is full of food....

You probably know how to stuff yourself then starve yourself.  I expect you also know how to berate yourself for eating too much or not enough.  Perhaps you feel too fat or are bulimic.  Maybe you don't quite eat enough or find that you do things that make you feel bad around food and eating.  Sometimes people become labelled as obese, having an eating disorder or a food obsession. Often they are told to lose weight or gain weight.  Has this happened to you?

What you might be looking for is a way to stop the struggle with food, size and calorie counting.  Perhaps you would like people to to stop telling you to lose/gain weight so that you could stop dieting.  Would you prefer someone to help you to break free from some of the behaviors and habits that cause you distress?

Would you like to empty your head of food so that you can do something more interesting instead?  Like simply enjoying yourself or enjoying being you?

We aim to help people to stop the struggle with food, size and eating and find sustainable ways of managing troublesome  habits and feelings around food.  This in turn can lead to weight stabilisation in the longer term as well as increased self confidence and communication skills.  We do this by providing groups, counselling, psychotherapy in Devon.  We also provide on-line and telephone based courses and information about emotional eating for people like you.

Breaking Free from Stuffing and Starving is a Community Interest Company.  This means that any surplus money made goes straight back to the community that it serves.  I.e. people who struggle with food, size and eating.
