Carers Direct (SW) Limited is committed to an outstanding standard of home care.
Carers Direct (SW) Ltd is a not for profit company, established in August 2002 in response to the experiences of professional carers in the South Hams area and the increasing number of local people wishing to remain independent in the comfort of their own homes. We are a co‑operative business committed to providing a flexible and reliable service. We are regulated by the Commision for Social Care Inspectorate, by following the link below you can view our most recent inspection report which reflects the outstanding quality of care we provide The office is open for enquiries Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5pm. Our objective is to provide a first class service for clients. From initial referral through to needs and risk assessment to provide the highest standard of care for the individual focusing on enabling each individuals aspirations and potential to be fulfilled. Visits are organized for our clients at a time to suit them. We actively encourage client and family members participation in the formulation of the care plan. In carrying out our duties we aim to preserve dignity and privacy for the person without prejudice or judgement.
Our experienced carers, based within the South Hams area, are available day or night with a minimum one hour visit time.
We have recently joined the Devon Carers Link `Take a Break` scheme as a provider. This is a sitting service to allow people who care for relatives some time off for a well earned rest.
