Industrial Common Ownership Movement
In December 2001 ICOM merged with a sister organisation in the co‑operative movement the Co‑operative Union.
 
The new organisation created from the merge, now known as Co‑operatives UK promotes co‑operatives and co‑operative working across a broad spectrum of sectors.
The range of services provided by ICOM Legal and Registration Office will continue - offering tailor-made legal structures for organisations within the social enterprise sector and advice and guidance on corporate governance.
