Co‑operatives and Mutual Enterprises (CMEs) are a significant force in the Scottish Economy.

A recent development for the co‑operative movement is the creation of the UK's first national online database of co‑operative enterprise. It has over 1400 co‑operative organisations listed, and can be searched either by location or trade sector. To find out about Scottish co‑operative enterprise you can limit your search to Scotland only.
