Jesse Clement Gray

Born in Ripley, Derbyshire, and became the secretary of the Hebden Bridge Fustian Co‑operative Society.
Became Chief Excutive of the Co‑operative Union in 1891, and called for a national co‑operative society in his address to the 1906 Congress.
