Our Subscriptions Explained

Co-operativesUK has a banded subscription system based on turnover and number of employees.

Where Co-operativesUK holds information about your organisation, the subscription request will show the subscription band and the amount due, based on your annual turnoverTurnover is the total income over a particular period of time, and is usually given in the annual accounts and number of employeesEmployees is the total number of full time equivalent employees (fte) that hold a contract of employment in the organisation. All employees working over 30 hours per week are counted as 1 fte, whilst employees working less per week are counted as 0.5 fte..

You can calculate your subscription by using either:

(i) Online subscriptions calculator: Enter your latest turnover and employee figures and the online calculator will show your subscription band for a full calendar year.

(ii) Manual subscriptions graph: To calculate your annual subscription follow the horizontal line accross until you reach your turnover figure and then move up the graph until you reach the number of employees in your organisation - this will give you the subscription band for the year.

Subscription bands

For other members, the annual return subscriptions are as follows:

Federal members:Pay an annual subscription of £300∗ per year.
Affiliate members:Pay an annual subscription of £45∗ per year.
Associate members:Pay according to turnover or local population.
